This is a wheel-thrown stoneware footed tea bowl crafted from buff clay, featuring a traditional Japanese 'Hakeme' design, where a white slip has been applied using a handmade brush.
 
Inspired by traditional Japanese pottery craftmanship and organic patterns found in nature, this piece was lovingly handmade in my garden studio in London. It was fired at a temperature of 1220ºC, using a wood-ash glaze recipe developped in my studio, ensuring both durability and uniqueness.
