Natural soy wax (models #4) or natural beeswax candles (models #1, #2, #3), slighlty scented with natural essential neroli oil, in a handmade stoneware container.
Neroli oil is an essential oil, extracted from the flowers of bitter orange trees (Citrus aurantium). It’s also known as orange blossom oil. When inhaled, neroli oil is said to help reduce stress and anxiety due to its ability to encourage the brain to release serotonin and reduce cortisol levels. What’s more, these calming abilities are said to help people sleep better too.
Essential oils in candles won't release toxic components in the atmosphere, unlike chemical additives found in commercial candles. Besides, the perfume in those candles is very subtle and won't give you a headache.
They have been hand poured so light defects at the surface are possible, but won't alter their burning capacities.
Both soy wax and beeswax are considered as "clean" waxes, natural and renewable, unlike cheap paraffine based waxes. Soy wax is also vegan.
The Neroli candles are easy to light up thanks to their wooden wicks, which make a gentle crackle when burning.
When your candle is finished, either refill it and put a new wick, or clean the stoneware container by boiling it in water in order to reuse it around the house.
Please note that model #5 is poured in a raku bowl that hasn't been fired to stoneware temperatures and isn't foodsafe.
Approx burning time: 40h

All pieces are handmade and therefore measurements are only indicative. All pieces are unique and therefore small variations in finish/colour/size/shape often happen between two similar looking pieces, especially those created as part of an ensemble. The shop will feature as many photographs as possible in the description of each piece, so my customer get a precise idea before ordering. But photographs do not reflect exactly the reality. Please be aware of this before placing an order.
Sometimes, the piece you are sent will NOT be the piece shown on the website, but it will be a very similar looking one. I try not to embellish the photographs featured in the shop, but the real colour of each piece can sometimes be slightly different than the one on the photograph. Those variations in aspect are not considered flaws, but rather contribute to the organic character and unicity of each piece.
