SHOP POLICY
All pieces are handmade and therefore measurements are only indicative. All pieces are unique and therefore small variations in finish/colour/size/shape often happen between two similar looking pieces, especially those created as part of an ensemble. The shop will feature as many photographs as possible in the description of each piece, so my customer get a precise idea before ordering. But photographs do not reflect exactly the reality. Please be aware of this before placing an order.Sometimes, the piece you are sent will NOT be the piece shown on the website, but it will be a very similar looking one. I try not to embellish the photographs featured in the shop, but the real colour of each piece can sometimes be slightly different than the one on the photograph. Those variations in aspect are not considered flaws, but rather contribute to the organic character and unicity of each piece.
CARE POLICY
Unless otherwise stated, all the clays and glazes I use for functional items and tableware are lead-free and food safe. All functional pieces are fired to temperatures exceeding 1200C, making them strong and perfect for everyday use. They can be washed in the dishwasher and micro-waved, but I would strongly recommend not to, just like you wouldn't put in the washing machine your favourite pricy designer garment. So, try to hand wash as much as you can, to preserve the longevity of your OOAK piece. Some glazes can crack or mark over time, especially if the item is used repetitively. This is absolutely normal wear and tear, and belongs to the piece's own life and history.
Remember that:
Nothing lasts,
Nothing is finished,
And nothing is perfect.
SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
Shipping is generally done withing 5 business of purchase. There is a free option to come and collect your piece at the studio. If you wish to do so, I will send you the address of the studio and a convenient date and time. A lot of my packaging material is either biodegradable, recyclable, plastic free or coming from recycled materials.

For UK shipping, orders are generally shipped by Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service. International orders are usually shipped with Royal Mail's International Tracked for parcels under 2kg or International Tracked Heavier for parcel above 2kg. There is also a DHL option for quicker deliveries outside Europe or for custom orders.

Shipping is calculated by weight of the packaged items. There is a flat fee for all purchase under 2kg. Over 2 kg, the rate usually increases by increments: 2kg-5kg, 5kg-10kg, etc. If you intend to place an order for over 2kg of ware and you would prefer a bespoke quote, please feel free to chose the free studio collection option at checkout to secure your order, and I will provide you with a separate invoice for the shipping, calculated on the exact weight of your parcel. Once the shipping invoice is settled, your parcel will be sent with the agreed shipping company.
Note for non-UK customers, please beware that shipping taxes and tariffs may incur according to the legislation in place in your country.
Note for EU customers: despite OOAK being a UK based non-registered VAT business (meaning that my yearly sales are below the VAT threshold for registering, and that my sales are not subject to VAT within the UK), please note that from 01/07/2021, thanks to Brexit, the VAT rules on cross border sales have changed. If you are based in the EU, according to the EU/UK VAT rules on cross border sales, your purchase from OOAK will have VAT added to them along with customs duty (if your order is above 150EUR) and maybe, import charges. All these additional fees are assessed by the customs office in your country and collected from you, before delivery can be done. This could mean that your parcel will be held longer at your local custom office and that charges might need to be payed by you on top of the purchase price, to release the parcel from the custom office, before it can be delivered to you. I am deeply sorry for all this extra inconvenience added to UK/EU sales, that's why, if you purchase something from the EU, I will always add an extra item to your order, as a gesture to thank you for putting an order through despite those extra charges.

I don't generally accept returns or refunds, except, of course, if one of your purchase arrives broken or damaged. I will then ask you to get in touch within 7 days of receipt of your item, and send me a photo of the transit damage so that I can issue a refund.
