This is a wheel-thrown stoneware lidded tea bowl, handthrown from anthracite clay. It can be used as a Gaiwan.
 
Inspired by traditional Japanese pottery craftmanship and organic patterns found in nature, this piece was lovingly handmade in my garden studio in London. It was fired at a temperature of 1220ºC, ensuring both durability and uniqueness.
