Sakura is a collection of handmade ceramic tableware, created in my Greenwich studio in London. Inspired by the quiet beauty of Japanese aesthetics, each stoneware plate, bowl and serving dish explores the relationship between form, texture and the rituals of gathering around a table.
Organic edges, carved details and softly layered glazes give each piece its own character. Made slowly, by hand, these ceramics are designed to be used, touched and enjoyed, bringing a quiet presence to everyday meals and special occasions alike.
From individual pieces for the home to bespoke tableware for chefs and restaurants, Sakura celebrates the meeting of craftsmanship and function.

Each commission is developed around the needs of the kitchen, exploring shapes, dimensions, textures and glazes to create tableware with a distinct identity.
Every piece is individually made and glazed in my London studio, with the subtle variations that are part of working by hand.
I work alone from my garden studio based in Greenwich, London. My lead time can vary between 4 and 16 weeks depending on quantities and time of the year.
