EARTHED
Japanese-inspired ash-glazed ceramics
Elemental traces of fire
The Earthed Collection includes Japanese inspired ash-glazed ceramics, showcasing the beauty of imperfection, and curated around the concept of "traces"—elemental marks left by nature, time, process and fire. Each vessel, crafted from our Earth, connects us directly to the nature around us. By using wood-ash glazes, evoking natural patinas, glorifying glaze drips, further highlighting the concept of natural imperfections or playing around with brushed found clays, I want to give organic flaws the main part in this collection. These pieces tell a story of the Earth's journey, celebrating the subtle imprints of nature and time, creating a serene, organic aesthetic deeply rooted in the wabi-sabi philosophy of beauty in imperfection.

Ash glazes and natural materials
The Earthed collection honours the quiet beauty of everyday rituals. Soft forms, natural textures, and gentle variations invite a return to the present — one cup at a time.

All my products are handmade in my Greenwich garden studio. My glazes and slips are my own personal recipes. They are applied by either pouring, dipping or brushing. Movement is often added so that they cover the piece with various drips, transparencies and even cracks sometime. "Happy" accidents are welcomed and in my opinion, are inherent to handmade products.
Each piece is unique and when a piece is offered as a small batch or within a collection, small variations among the pieces of a same set are to be expected.
