Lapsang, Puerh, Oolong, Hojicha, Verbena and Jasmine, each bringing together a teapot, cups and a handful of smaller pieces made to accompany them.

All my pottery work is slowmade by hand - either wheelthrown or handbuilt - and fired in an energy-efficient electric kiln, in my Greenwich garden studio. Read more about my making process, glazes and studio practice in the Studio notes.
My glazes and slips are not shop bought but are recipes developped and adapted by myself to my firing temperature range of 1200C-1220C. They are applied by either pouring, dipping or brushing. Movement is often added so that glazes and slips cover the piece with various drips, transparencies and even cracks sometime. "Happy" accidents, drippings, finger marks, slight clay variations in colour or glaze impurities are all welcomed and in my opinion, are inherent to handmade pottery and add to the wabisabi aesthetic. Your order will be wrapped using recycled/biodegradable/recyclable materials.
Shipping to the UK is free for all orders over £150. Under £150, you'll be charged a flat fee of £6, whatever the weight of your order.
Shipping is available worldwide and is calculated by weight of the packaged items. There is a flat fee for all purchases under 2kg. Over 2 kg, the rate usually increases by increments: 2kg-5kg, 5kg-10kg, etc. Shipping rates are detailed here.
If you intend to place an order for over 2kg of ware and you would prefer a bespoke quote, please feel free to chose the free studio collection option at checkout to secure your order, and I will provide you with a separate invoice for the shipping, calculated on the exact weight of your parcel. Once the shipping invoice is settled, your parcel will be sent with the agreed shipping company.

For orders shipped to the US, an additional 20% is added at checkout to cover import tariffs and handling fees.
For orders shipped to the EU, an additional 30% is added to cover import VAT, customs duties and handling fees.

I pay these charges directly to Royal Mail when your parcel is dispatched, so that the necessary import costs are taken care of in advance and your parcel can arrive without additional payment or customs handling on your side.
The amount is calculated on the value of your order and is collected at checkout as part of the total cost.

Note for non-UK, non-EU and non-US customers: please be aware that you may have to pay additional VAT/customs/admin fees upon delivery. I recommend that you enquire about the import conditions in the country where you want your OOAK order to be delivered, before putting an order through. If not sure, I can help you out with that, but please enquire before ordering to avoid unexpected fees.
