I draw inspiration from the natural landscapes of my childhood in the French Pyrénées, and from the Japanese quiet philosophy of wabi-sabi to create vessels that balance heritage and personal expression. Each of my pieces reflects traces of spontaneity, imperfection, and slow craftsmanship, celebrating the beauty of impermanence and inviting moments of connection and contemplation. My handmade ceramics are glazed with my own glazes in a muted neutral palette, often incorporating natural ingredients like wood-ashes, plant-ashes, various shells or found clays, and always fired in an electric kiln, from my London garden studio. Each stoneware piece coming out of my artisanal practice is one-of-a-kind and lovingly crafted to bring presence and beauty to everyday life.
My work reflects the balance between my rational mind as a former civil engineer and my creative spirit as a potter. One path is defined by quiet, structured forms, the other by raw, elemental glazes crafted from plant ashes and locally sourced elements. Both share the same intention: to create ceramics that invite slowness, presence, and sustainability. Each piece honors the earth and its cycles, embodying the wabi-sabi philosophy—finding beauty in imperfection and the authenticity of handmade work.

"I believe that as a potter, I have a duty to promote the concept of eco-herence, or coherent sustainability, through mindful practices and ecocaring working habits. As an example of those little gestures which can make a difference, since I started selling my pots online, I have tried to avoid plastic as a ceramic wrapping staple. I have embraced eco-friendly recyclable packaging materials, so don't be surprised if you receive your next order, wrapped in recycled papers and cardboard boxes."
