This footed tea bowl has been wheel-thrown out of a light grey stoneware clay. Hakeme brushwork and wood-ash glaze, over a Tenmoku inside. The ash glaze on the rim has created some characteristic green/blue rivulets on the edge of the bowl and two glorious "happy" drips have formed at the bottom.
 
Fired in oxidation at a temperature of 1220ºC, ensuring both durability and uniqueness.
